It was a great base for our stopover after a week on the HRP trail. The staff were friendly and accommodating, allowing us to check in early. The location was close to hiking trails, with a fantastic view from the small outdoor balcony. a jaw-dropping experience with friendly hosts and excellent amenities.

The triple room at Chambres D'Hotes L'Astazou was cozy and comfortable, with heating to keep us warm. The room had a spacious dressing room, perfect for storing our belongings during our stay. The private bathroom in the triple room was clean and had a shower with good water pressure. We enjoyed watching our favorite shows on the flat-screen TV in the triple room.

Personally, I found it a bit inconvenient that the rooms were accessed via stairs.

Beautiful Hiking Location

We couldn't have asked for a better location for our hiking trip. The hotel was nestled in a picturesque town, surrounded by stunning natural beauty. We had a room with a small balcony, offering a breathtaking view of the valley below.

The only minor inconvenience was the lack of an elevator, but it was a small price to pay for the charm of a smaller, older hotel. We simply carried our small clothes bag up to our room.
